Job Title: Safety Health and Environment Administrator

Job Location: Redditch

Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Safety, Health, and Environmental Administrator with a meticulous approach to all things administration and experience within a high-volume environment. The successful candidate will work closely alongside the wider Health & Safety team, fostering a culture of safety consciousness across the business.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Prepare new project documentation packs
  • Complete onboarding competence, and other checks, for new operatives and for existing operatives who move sites and/or change duties
  • Booking in training where required
  • Supporting with Risk Assessments as required
  • Updating Health & Safety documents, paperwork and spreadsheets where necessary
  • Monitoring and actioning expiring site qualifications
  • Co-ordinating safety training
  • Maintaining accurate Health & Safety record systems
  • Issuing RAMS where required
  • Updating project folders where required
  • Recording accidents and incidents, reporting to HSE as required
  • Other administrative duties as required
The Successful Applicant will:
  • Be proficient in multi-tasking, planning and prioritisation, and well-versed in dealing with shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Have strong attention to detail.
  • Be able to identify risks and find resolutions to problems that may arise.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the wider Health & Safety team, fostering a culture of safety consciousness across the business.
  • Be proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel).
  • Be GDPR competent.
  • Always remain professional.
  • Ideally, have a background in Construction and/or Health & Safety.
Package
  • Contract Type:  Permanent, Full-Time
  • Weekly Hours: 08:00 to 16:30 (or similar)
  • 28 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays
